Hungry Howies

Taste like average food chain pizza. Nothing else to say about it blahhhh.

For reasons unknown to me Hungry Howies tasted way better the next day after I over warmed it (burnt it) in the easy bake oven. Still wouldn’t recommend it.

And I'm gone so later on. Sammy

Gramaldi’s coal brick-oven pizzeria was my recommendation for the Food Twins Phoenix area pizza quest. As of this review their pepperoni and kalamata olives pizza is my favorite slice of pie this side of the Colorado. Gramaldi’s claim to fame is their history which runs back to one of the original NY pizza makers. They also pride themselves in the preservation of old cooking traditions and techniques. I can’t speak from experience but I have a feeling that any New York pizza aficionado can step into Gramaldi’s Chandler and not be disappointed.
Gramaldi’s menu is simple but dangerous. You have three pizza foundations to choose from: classic with sauce, white with garlic, and pesto. Then you have a decently long list of toppings. I used the word dangerous because with no guidance you can easily contrap yourself an average or below average pizza. I would recommend a one or none topping pizza for a freshman pie creator.

The Pizzas:
-Pepperoni
-Pepperoni with Kalamata Olives
-White with Ricotta Cheese and Sausage

Suggestions: Germaldi’s step your root beer game up. I luvs me some rootbeer with my pizza, and Mug is just not cutting it. I know my suggestion is ridiculous but there’s not much to critique here.
